BROOKLYN RECLAIMED

The countertops and overhead shelving are made from Red Oak recovered from abandoned barns around the Pennsylvania area. These barns have been out of commission for the better part of 100 years, some being well over 150 years old.  

 

The patina created by its time in the country gives this beautiful hardwood more color variation and includes frequent nail holes that give these tops a very distinctive and rustic character.
